Step 1 :- I am logging in to Predix at 8AM and I am in my Forum post page (https://forum.predix.io/questions/12366/predix-machine-techinican-console-predix-tab-gatew.html)
Step 2 :- At 9AM, some one comments my forum page, I want to comment back, but login is timed out.
Step 3 :- I press login button. It takes me to Predix Basic login (I was actually logged in to Predix Select account in Step 1)
Step 4 :- I type the Predix Select account URL and login
Step 5 :- I land in predix.io after login. I must click Community tab and go to forum page from there and paste the URL from Step1 (https://forum.predix.io/questions/12366/predix-machine-techinican-console-predix-tab-gatew.html) in the search box to go to my Post.
Step 6 :- Even at this point, UI doesn't recognize I am logged in, so I press log in button and now it logs me in
There are two problems here
Login times out very very quickly.
Predix doesn't remember from which page I pressed login. If my login was timed out in forum page and I login again , every time it lands me in predix.io page instead of taking me to forum page from where initially I was logged out.
Even after login, I need to press sign in button second time , to make the browser refresh the login cookie.
I do these steps atleast 10 times a day since June.
When will this issue be resolved?

How quickly it is timing out for you , I tried to reproduce the above mentioned issues and below is my findings.
Login times out very very quickly. I logged in , waited for 20 mins and it is still not timed out.
Not able to reproduce step2 and step 3 .

There is already a Feature request on the quick timeout problem here: https://forum.predix.io/content/idea/511/increase-the-session-timeout-on-predixio-website.html
It has quite a few upvotes, but we don't know if anything is happening with it. I completely agree that the constant having to re-login on a forum is a total no-go.
As for step 3. I had experienced in the past that after logging in it took me back to the main page, but the last few times it did not do that anymore. Not sure, why.
