The automated install tool does not work in Windows 7, if predix cli is not installed. It asks for the question should we install the required tools if not already installed but when y or even Y is pressed it returns n error says 1!]==[y] was unexpected at this time
However, after installing predix cli, the command runs fine.

Yes, thanks! we noticed that too. A fix is in the develop branch, but it's with a lot of other changes that, so the expected delivery will be a while.
Suggest that you install the CLI separately. Then try again.
