I was loading traffic asset data and realized that some streetlight sensors mapped to multiple lanes are located at the same coordinates. Shouldn't each lane be at different coordinates? Otherwise, why have multiple locations?
Example:
HYP1040-75-Lane2 - https://ie-pedestrian.run.aws-usw02-pr.ice.predix.io/v1/locations/1000000139 HYP1040-75-Lane3 - https://ie-pedestrian.run.aws-usw02-pr.ice.predix.io/v1/locations/1000000140
... have the exact same coordinates "32.711653,-117.157314".
Hopefully somebody from the product team can chime in here to confirm some details for us -- but are those the coordinates for the lane or the sensor you are referencing? Are you using the traffic or pedestrian API?
The coordinates are from the lanes, and I am getting the coordinates from the traffic API in my actual app., and they still remain to be duplicate coordinates.
All assets/locations regardless of API can be queried and so the pedestrian API still actually provides the same traffic asset location data as though it was queried from the traffic API.

Hi, All the data are simulated. I did checked the metadata, all the lanes with the similar location have the same coordinates. we will try to get the simulator updated. Thanks

Hi there,
Both the simulator and the DB has been updated. Should show different location coordinates now :)
Best, Marvin
